Access to Safe Drinking Water for the Children Who Need It Most
Access to safe drinking water is essential for children’s health and survival, especially in emergency settings. Thanks to the Blue Gift selected by BELGICAST, UNICEF will be able to send 7,900 water purification tablet kits to children in urgent need.
Each kit provides a child with access to safe drinking water for one week, helping to prevent waterborne diseases and significantly reduce health risks in crisis and emergency situations.
Every year, UNICEF provides safe drinking water to millions of children and their families around the world. In emergencies caused by conflicts, natural disasters, or humanitarian crises, water purification tablets are a fast, effective, and life-saving solution.
