Belgicast has participated in the European Desalination Society (EDS) Congress – Desalination, Water Reuse and the Environment, held in Marrakech, Morocco, from 22 to 25 June 2026.

Representing Belgicast at the event were Oswaldo Robredo, Desalination Business Unit Manager, and Alfons Guirao, Head of Marketing & Communication.

Throughout the congress, discussions focused on some of the most important challenges and opportunities facing the desalination sector today, including energy efficiency, sustainability, water reuse, membrane technologies, digitalization, operational optimization and the role of desalination in addressing global water scarcity.
