Belgicast Inspires New Generations Through Industria Erronka

We welcomed a group of 28 students from 4th year of secondary school and 1st year of Baccalaureate to our Belgicast facilities as part of the Industria Erronka program, an initiative aimed at bringing the industrial reality of Bizkaia closer to young people and sparking STEM vocations in our region. 05-12-2025

The industrial sector is undergoing a profound transformation. Digitalization, sustainability, new manufacturing technologies, and water management have become essential fields for the economic and social future of Bizkaia. In this context, opening our doors to students is a unique opportunity to show them that modern industry is innovative, diverse, and full of possibilities.

Discovering the World of Valves and Hydraulic Engineering

During their visit, the students had the chance to learn firsthand how we work at Belgicast:

  • They observed manufacturing and quality control processes.
  • They discovered the importance of valves in hydraulic infrastructures and supply networks.
  • They learned how engineering, precision, and innovation are key to our daily work.
  • They spoke with professionals from different areas, who shared experiences, training paths, and advice on possible future careers.

This direct contact allowed the students to understand that the water industry is not only strategic but also an environment where technology and sustainability move forward hand in hand.

Committed to Talent and the Development of Our Region

At Belgicast, we firmly believe in the importance of inspiring new generations. The visit not only brings industry closer to students but also strengthens our commitment to society and to the future of the sector.

Being part of Industria Erronka enables us to actively participate in building a solid industrial ecosystem capable of attracting and developing young talent in Bizkaia.

Looking Toward the Future

For the entire Belgicast team, the day was enriching and motivating. Seeing the students’ interest, questions, and curiosity reminds us of the responsibility we have as an industry leader: to continue creating learning opportunities, fostering innovation, and contributing to the development of our region.

We thank Industria Erronka and the participating educational centers for their involvement and trust. We hope this visit has planted questions, ideas, and aspirations that, in the not-too-distant future, may become part of the industry of tomorrow.
