The Oropesa SWRO desalination plant in Spain, with a capacity of 41,000 m³/day, played a key role in improving the region's potable water supply. Belgicast made a crucial contribution by providing high-performance valve solutions, ensuring efficiency and reliability in operations.
For this project, Belgicast supplied a total of 366 valves, ranging from DN 80 (3") to DN 1200 (48") and with pressure ratings from 150# to 600#. The solutions included pneumatic, electric, and manual centric butterfly valves, as well as low and high-pressure check valves, designed for ON/OFF and control operations.
Belgicast’s valves were essential in ensuring an efficient and safe supply of desalinated water, optimizing system performance and reducing long-term maintenance costs.
