Ball Check Valves

Ball check valve is simple and compact and commonly used to protect wastewater pumps where economy is important.

BELGICAST provides a range of threaded ends and flanged ball check valves, for sewage water and loaded or viscous fluids. This check valve consists of a ductile iron body with internal design guiding a rubber-coated ball out of the seat by the flow to its upper housing, then moving it back to the seat when the flow reverses.

Threaded type: 1" to 3"

Flanged type: DN40 up to 400

Working pressures: 16 bar up to DN200, 10 bar for DN250 to DN400

"BSP" profile thread according to standards ISO 228-1 and NF E 03-005

Flanges drilling according to standard EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2: ISO PN10 or 16 up to DN200, ISO PN10 from DN250 to DN400

Face to face dimensions for flanged type: according to standards EN 558-1 series 48 and ISO 5752 series 48

Medium Temperature: -10°C up to +80°C

Sealing: class A according to standard ISO 5208

 

CHARACTERISTICS

Robust construction – Ball fully encapsulated in moulded NBR, corrosion protection thanks to epoxy coating, bolting in stainless steel A2.

Self-cleaning – Thanks to the rolling ball, movement will ensure auto-cleaning of the ball and internal body.

Ball types option – Lower weight balls depending on particular requirements.

Different possible installations – Horizontal flow, vertical flow upwards or floating ball check valves.
