GWI releases the shortlist for the Global Water Awards 2020 and El Alamein (Egypt), with Belgicast valves, nominee as Desalination Plant of the Year.
The RO plant is located on the Mediterranean coast of the country, in an area of growing tourism development. With a capacity of 150,000 m3/d designed to serve a population of one million people at the New Alamein City in Egypt, which becomes a real milestone, in an area with a severe shortage of water resources.
BELGICAST supplied for this project more than 500 centric butterfly valves manually and pneumatic actuated, as well as dual plate check valves for low and for high pressure, up to 600 Lbs.
